Free Educational Program for Four-Year-Old Children

At Belleview Montessori School, we believe that every child deserves a strong educational foundation built on curiosity, independence, and meaningful learning experiences. Our Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program combines Florida’s state-funded early learning standards with our authentic Montessori approach to create a rich and balanced educational experience.

The VPK program is a free instructional program funded by the State of Florida and is available to all eligible four-year-old children who turn 4 on or before September 1st of the current school year, regardless of family income. It offers 540 instructional hours for the school year.

Families may enroll in:

  • the free VPK instructional program only, or

  • the full Montessori day with optional wraparound programming.

Why Choose VPK at Belleview Montessori?

Our program is designed to go beyond traditional preschool models. Children experience:

✨ Hands-on Montessori learning
✨ Individualized instruction and small-group guidance
✨ Language and early literacy development
✨ Early mathematics and problem-solving skills
✨ Social-emotional growth and independence
✨ Cultural studies, science exploration, and creative expression
✨ A calm, prepared environment that encourages focus and confidence

At Belleview Montessori, learning happens throughout the entire day — not just during one scheduled block.
