School Readiness, Head Start & ELC Funding

Belleview Montessori is committed to providing a high-quality, authentic Montessori education with certified teachers, low student-to-teacher ratios, and carefully prepared classroom environments.

At this time, we do not participate in the School Readiness (ELC) or Head Start funding programs. While we strongly support access to early childhood education for all families, the current state reimbursement rates do not cover the full cost of delivering our program at the level of quality and staffing that we maintain.

Our tuition structure reflects the true cost of maintaining highly trained educators, developmentally appropriate materials, and a prepared Montessori environment designed to support each child’s individual growth.

Families seeking information about state-funded programs are encouraged to contact the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County directly for participating providers.

Addressing Cost Concerns

At Belleview Montessori School, we know that selecting the best educational environment for your child means carefully considering both quality and affordability, especially in our community, where families often explore a range of options from traditional daycares to subsidized programs like Head Start. We’re dedicated to providing an exceptional Montessori experience with straightforward, all-inclusive pricing that’s competitive with other established Montessori programs in the area.

Why Montessori Invests in Quality Over Basic Care

Montessori education focuses on individualized learning, trained educators, and low child-to-teacher ratios to nurture independence, curiosity, and long-term success. This holistic approach requires more resources than typical daycares, which prioritize supervision and play at lower rates. While daycares may advertise weekly fees that seem affordable at first glance, calculating them over a full year (52 weeks divided by 12 months) often reveals a higher monthly equivalent, plus additional charges for supplies or activities.

Our Tuition: A Clean, All-Inclusive Option

Our monthly tuition may initially appear slightly higher than some alternatives, but we offer a clean option with complete transparency: everything is included in one predictable rate, except for a modest one-time application fee. Unlike many providers, we have no hidden extras, such as registration, incidental, material, or supply fees, that can add up over time and surprise families.

In contrast:

  • Other Montessori Programs: These often advertise base rates but require annual fees for incidentals, registration, or materials, which can increase the effective cost to match or exceed ours.
  • Typical Daycares: Weekly rates look lower upfront, but when annualized and combined with common add-ons (e.g., enrollment or activity fees), the true monthly expense rises significantly.

The True Value of Your Investment

Our competitive pricing aligns closely with other Montessori schools in the region, many of which have been serving families for decades. By eliminating surprise fees, we ensure you’re paying for quality education without complications—delivering benefits like confident, self-motivated learners prepared for kindergarten and beyond. We’ve opted not to participate in lower-reimbursement subsidy programs to uphold our standards, including smaller classes and specialized training, making every dollar count toward your child’s growth.

Our convenient location on US-441 also adds everyday value for commuting families between Belleview and Ocala, saving time while providing a nurturing space.
